The whale corridor.
Between October and April, the fleet departs Mirissa Fisheries Harbour before sunrise, heading south into open ocean. Blue whales, sperm whales and spinner dolphins are the constants of this route. Multi-day private journeys follow the Kurundu coastline westward, jungle to the waterline, with secluded bays and no road access, all on your own schedule.
