Guest Responsibilities

What we expect from our guests to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
General Conduct
All guests must follow the instructions of the captain and crew at all times. Safety briefings must be attended before departure. Any guest who poses a risk to the safety of the vessel, crew, or other passengers, or who disrupts the enjoyment of others, may be removed from the vessel without refund at the captain’s absolute discretion. Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout the journey.
Children & Minors
Children are welcome on all standard sailings. Child pricing applies to guests under 12 years of age on shared experiences. All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the voyage. The accompanying adult assumes full responsibility for the minor’s safety, supervision, and conduct while on board.
Environmental Respect
We are deeply committed to the preservation of the marine environment. Guests are strictly prohibited from throwing any items overboard, disturbing wildlife, or removing natural elements from the ocean or protected coastal areas. Compliance with our sustainable sailing guidelines is mandatory.

Limitation of Liability
Sail Lanka Charter (Pvt) Ltd operates in full compliance with Sri Lankan maritime law and carries mandatory maritime insurance. Our liability for personal injury, death, or property damage is limited to the strict extent required by applicable law. All guests sail at their own risk and fully acknowledge the inherent unpredictable risks of open-water sailing and marine activities. We accept no liability beyond what is mandated by applicable Sri Lankan legislation.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising in connection with a booking, a voyage, or website usage shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
