Beginning in Mawella and ending in Mirissa, this one-night voyage invites you to experience the southern coast as travellers once did: guided by the wind, moving at the rhythm of the ocean, and discovering hidden corners rarely seen from land. Whether swimming in quiet bays, paddleboarding at sunset, enjoying fresh seafood under the stars or simply watching the coastline drift by, this journey is designed to reconnect you with the sea and with each other.
Long before roads connected Sri Lanka's southern coast, people arrived by sea.
Fishing communities, spice traders, sailors and explorers followed these waters for centuries, moving between natural harbours and sheltered anchorages shaped by the monsoon winds.
Today, little has changed from the ocean's perspective.
The coastline unfolds one bay at a time. Palm-fringed beaches appear and disappear. Fishing boats return home at dusk. Life continues at a gentler pace.

Voyage programme
01Day 01
Depart Mawella and settle into life onboard. Spend the afternoon sailing along Sri Lanka's southern coastline, stopping for swimming, paddleboarding and exploration where conditions allow. As evening approaches, anchor in a protected bay and enjoy dinner beneath the stars. Overnight onboard.
02Day 02
Wake to the sound of the ocean and enjoy breakfast at anchor. Continue sailing west towards Mirissa, with opportunities for swimming and relaxation throughout the morning. Arrive in Mirissa and disembark.
