The Traditional Doni is a Sri Lankan outrigger sailing vessel, the working boat of the island's coastal fishing communities for centuries. Rebuilt and equipped for guided sailing experiences, the Doni provides an entirely different kind of encounter with the ocean: closer to the water, under traditional sail, with a vessel that is itself part of the culture of the coast. The Doni operates short experiences, cultural day voyages and photography charters from selected south coast harbours.
